Cilgwyn Community Group – May Update

In our neighbouring town of Newport (Pembrokeshire) the homes families can afford to rent or buy have little or no gardens so Newport people have been trying to get land for allotments for 6 years, in vain.In May a member of our group managed to buy land in Newport and is offering it for allotments. Vegware money will pay for the celebratory meeting with a film to take this forward.

Local self-reliance doesn’t stop at the garden gate! It rolls down the road to neighbours. This is what Vegware are doing with their community fund, rolling out the benefit, so are we.
