Vegware’s October newsletter – win a whiskey-fuelled weekend, spruce up your online presence, and meet Agnes and Eilidh

Happy autumn from Vegware! Just a few things to tell you in this newsletter – vote for Joe and win a whiskey-fuelled weekend, welcome to Agnes and Eilidh, and a couple of easy ways to spruce up your online presence.

1. Vote for Joe!

Our founder and MD, Joe Frankel, has been nominated for the Glenfiddich Spirit of Scotland Award, and is one of four up for the environmental award. We would love you to take just a few seconds to cast your vote – ideally for him!

Just by voting, you are in with a chance to win a whiskey-fuelled weekend at a luxury country hotel in scenic Aberdeenshire, with a whiskey tasting and tour of the Glenfiddich Distillery. 20 runners-up win a bottle of 12-year-old single malt. Thanks for voting!

2. Spruce up your website

If you use sustainable packaging, why not boast about it?! We have a whole host of mouth-watering web-ready images and some nice Vegware blurb for you to copy and paste. Just drop a line to me, Lucy, on lucy@vegware.co.uk and I’ll send it over.

3. Free publicity for whatever you’re up to 🙂

Vegware has nearly 3,000 followers on twitter and over 600 on facebook. That is a fantastic platform for spreading the word about whatever your cafe / small business / community group is up to, and it costs nothing. Stories with images tend to get the most interest, so post any colourful snaps on our pages!

Alternatively, you can send any news and images to me and I’ll post it for you. Just looking at our stats today, our facebook page had 4,800 post views in the last week and our largest group of users are women aged 25-44. So make the most of it – get in touch!

4. Last but not least…a big welcome to Agnes and Eilidh!

We are delighted to welcome two new members to the team – Agnes and Eilidh. Agnes has been with us for over a month now and is doing a fantastic job. Eilidh is fresh from an MSc in Environmental Sustainability and wrote her dissertation on recycling, so feel free to quiz her if you get on the phone!
