Cilgwyn Community Group – February Update

Cilgwyn Market Street is a bit of a wind tunnel, which has caused some problems recently with our market. Sometimes the market has even been cancelled due to the risk of stalls taking off in the wind, which leaves stallholders with produce they cannot sell. We held meetings to create solutions and positive action.

Here’s one of them, a home-made wind resistant stall, under development by green wood furniture man John Spikes. The splayed legs prevent toppling. He has been supported by a Vegware grant.
