Green Up Your Act education – February Update

This month at St Martins Primary School our focus has shifted to a large area of decked steps that are slippery in wet weather. As planed we are going to utilize this space to attract insects and birds. We have sourced ex-recycling boxes from a local recycling center and filled them with compost. In the coming months we will plant the containers with a variety of vegetables and flowers that will offer cover and food to wildlife and provide a much needed green area for the school.
