Community Fund – Cilgwyn Community Group – November Update

The hamlet of Glandwr is miles from a shop, and the route is along a dangerous main road. So they are trying to raise the money to buy back the village shop. The bank who is forcing its sale on the previous owners have allowed them 6 months to raise the money. They are opening as a shop part time, with a rota of 12 volunteers. A growing numbers of customers come for the local bread, veg or just a chat and cuppa. Cilgwyn people are helping the efforts of our neighbouring community.Supported by Vegware we have found money towards buying stock and thanking the volunteers.
