Community Fund – Green Up Your Act education – January Update

Having just started an Eco programme at Honilands Primary SchooI I am delighted to find not only raised beds, a wild life area, and a pond, but they also have chickens! This is the first school I have worked in that has poultry as school pets. At the moment they are in a small coop, but my plan is to extend their space and double their numbers. We will let them out in the school quadrangle, freeing up their range, whilst also encouraging them to keep down the slug and snail population.
