Community Fund – Lauder Trading Post – November Update

This month has been non-stop; our little Curiosity Shop has opened and is creating a real buzz with the Lauder Youth 2 Day group keeping a lovely connection in the town where we originally started. We launched it all with a festive market loads of lovely crafts, some great activities for the kids and fabulous Santa’s Grotto run for funds for Youths 2 Day – we literally brought the roof down (don’t ask!).

 

Grow to Work were a wonderful support and decorated the outside of the building with boughs and wreaths, all their lads worked very hard. Both our new member groups are gelling nicely and we are pleased to be creating a place where young people can sell things they make.
