We were blessed with some dry days this month and we have been able to buy seeds and start sowing. Our first purchase was seed potatoes (earlies) and they were planted early in the month. Our next purchase was bags of compost and a wide variety of seeds (see photo)hich have been sown in trays and kept in a cold frame. We currently have 16 trays waiting for the seedlings to appear and several tubs too that have been filled with the compost and arranged outside our village hall awaiting the first signs of growth. The community garden itself is slowly being dug and prepared for planting once the seedlings are strong enough.
