At Vegware, we’re delighted to help our local community by giving our time to projects close to our heart. Recently, members of the Vegware team volunteered at The Yard to help them decorate for their Christmas Party.  

The Yard runs adventure play services for disabled children, young people and their families in the east of Scotland.  

Our own Waste Management Consultant Lani Dines was one of the volunteers, “We were thrilled to help paint and decorate for their Christmas party. It was great to be part of something to make the children’s party that little bit extra special. Thank you to the wonderful staff and volunteers at The Yard for having us to visit.” 

The Yard has also been one of Vegware’s Community Fund recipients since 2017 (read more here about how they’ve used their donations). Vegware started the Community Fund in 2009 to support sustainability in its widest sense by offering monthly grants or regular donations of Vegware’s eco packaging to community projects in the UK and beyond.
