Vegware Community Fund is evolving
Since 2009, the Vegware Community Fund has helped community groups and non-profits turn good ideas into action. From animal shelters and children’s craft clubs to LGBTQI+ charities and grassroots organisations, we’ve been proud to support projects that make a real difference to people and places across the UK.
Now, we’re giving the Community Fund a refresh.
From next year, we’ll be moving to an annual application cycle, designed to make the fund clearer, fairer and easier for groups to plan around.
What does this mean for you?
If you’re already receiving support, don’t worry – nothing changes for 2026. We’ll continue supporting community projects throughout the year as usual.
If you’d like to be considered for funding from 2027 onwards, you’ll simply apply through our new annual process.
The new application timeline
Going forward, the Vegware Community Fund will follow this yearly rhythm:
- Applications open: January – September
- Review & shortlisting: October – November
- Decisions announced: December
- Grants awarded: January
Why we’re making this change
Moving to an annual process helps us to:
- Manage the fund more consistently
- Give applicants clearer timelines and expectations
- Celebrate recipients and share their stories more effectively
- Support a broader mix of impactful community projects each year
In short: more clarity for you, and more impact all round.
How the Vegware Community Fund supports projects
The fund offers regular monthly support in two ways:
Product donations
A regular supply of Vegware packaging for use at fundraising events or by volunteers.
Monthly grants
A contribution of £20–£200 per month, designed to support core running costs, free up time and help organisations focus on their work or unlock further funding.
